GMOs and us

Seminar
General public, high schools and the press
Room G11, via Golgi 19

Academic contact: Piero Morandini

What are GMOs? Are they part of our daily diet? Are scientists unanimous or divided about them?

The seminar arises from a wish to communicate things that nobody knows or says, but which are actually evident, about the apparently controversial topic of biotechnology in agriculture.

Where and why is modern biotechnology used besides in agriculture? What do researchers of biotech products say? What do those who use them in food production say?

The aim of the seminar is to be an “eye opener” and transmit a critical approach to a controversial problem. There will be ample opportunity to ask questions.
