Meetings and laboratories in schools and with different stakeholders of local communities to involve students, families, citizens, firms and associations on the topic of sustainability.

This pilot project aims at building at schools and universities a network of  “distributed  sustainability labs” with the objective of creating, with a bottom-up approach, a dynamic, transparent, participated network of great innovative potential.

Sustainability must be considered a “general factor” able of introducing a cultural and organisational change of paradigm that can  modify our cognitive, emotional, relational and cultural processes making a difference even on our every-day decisions.

This is a full-range transformation regarding all fields of application: agriculture, food, energy, transport, mobility. Educational institutions cannot therefore be ovelooked in the management of individual, collective and organisational learning processes.

Sustainability labs will organize with schools personalised sustainability projects in individual  sessions with schools throughout the period of EXPO and will conclude with a round table in which the activities undertaken will be presented in the light of development scenarios that also include post-EXPO.
